Its so close you can almost touch it...
With only days before we get to welcome you all to the beautiful Gold Coast and our Resort we hope you are as excited as we are for #Schoolies2015. Just some quick info to get you prepared for the week ahead:
ARRIVAL INFO: Our reception desk will be manned from 9am till late. We will personally check in each group so please try to have all members of the group arriving at the same time. Check-ins will be staggered during the day so if you arrive early come and see us. If we can check you in we will do it straight away, if not this will give you the chance to get your schoolies wrist bands. If you are arriving late please let us know.
WHAT WE SUPPLY: On arrival the apartment would have been professionally cleaned and fresh linen and towels supplied. We also supply a complimentary starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, laundry liquid, dishwashing liquid and a toilet roll per bathroom. Once these are used we do not replace them. Make sure you either bring enough food or budget enough money for food for the WHOLE week. You’d be surprised how much you will need.
POOL TOWELS: We strongly suggest to bring a pool/beach towel.
SCHOOL ID: Make sure you remember your school ID. Without it you will not be able to get your Schoolies Wrist Band. Bands can be picked up from the Cypress Avenue Carpark- More Info here...
HOUSE RULES: Please make sure that you have read and understood the Resorts House Rules BEFORE you arrive.
Don’t sweat the small stuff: in our experience with Schoolies over the past few years we have found that this coming week will be the longest continuous amount of time that most of you have spent with your friends. During the week tensions may arise, you may have disagreements and arguments that at the time may feel like the end of the world. Just a quick FYI it ISN’T! This is a perfect experience of what it is like to live with flat mates and or friends. Just remember if things get a little heated take a break, go for a walk and you’ll be best of mates again in no time.
FACT: It is illegal to drink alcohol unsupervised if you are under the age of 18. Not drinking is the safest option! You don't need to drink to have a good time. If you are over the age of 18 and choose to drink at Schoolies, you should have no more than two standard drinks per day on average. The easy way to check how many standard drinks you are consuming is to read the label. All alcohol packaging must state how many standard drinks the product contains. More Info here
It is an offence to supply alcohol to minors. The maximum penalty is $9,108
