This year’s Surfers Paradise festival takes place between 20th June – 14th July and the program of events is looking bigger and better than ever. Set against the iconic backdrop of Surfers Paradise, the festival celebrates all that’s unique and brilliant about the Gold Coast’s burgeoning cultural scene, showcasing the crème de la crème of local artists, musicians and chefs.
It’s one of the biggest events of its kind and everyone can get involved. Best of all, nearly all the events are completely free! Festival goers can take in one of a kind art exhibitions, enjoy huge outdoor concerts from acclaimed musicians and sample the mouthwatering cuisine the Coast is famed for in streets, clubs and parks close to our Surfers Paradise holiday accommodation.
There’s a fantastic beach party in the pipeline for this year’s event, featuring live bands from the national and international music scene. Lovers of international cuisine can once again look forward to A La Carte in the Park, an event which will see some of the region’s most renowned chefs cooking up delicious dishes for crowds in Lionel Perry Park. As you sit back with a plate of freshly prepared treats you can enjoy live sets from local musicians. This is picnicking Surfers Paradise style – don’t miss out on the fun!
